Production Test Team Lead Company: The Boeing Company Boeing
Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production Test
Team Lead to join the B-Deck Final Assembly Team in North
Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift. The Team Lead will be
performing tasks in the following areas: pre-shift planning, crew
meetings FOD Walk, team status updates, labor loss, production
control, training, process improvement, Compliance and Lean/BPS
(Boeing Production System). The candidate must have Testing
Experience (SME) and maintain all necessary certifications to
perform the job. Position Responsibilities: Performs complex
production testing on parts and equipment, both mechanical and
electrical, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and
accessories using manual or automated testing tools Building
effective resource plans by coordinating with peer team leads to
mitigating and managing schedule/building conflicts Identifies and
communicates risks to First Line Leader. Updates and communicates
BPS metrics Identify KPI improvement actions Able to work pre and
post shift overtime as required to assess status of build, assign
daily work, cover for labor loss, in times of surge and rework
Leads team in daily safety check-in Monitors and reports daily
progress to plan Works with support organizations and First Line
Leader to mitigate performance risk Documents and communicates
shift turnover Establishes overtime requirements and staffing.
Responsible for monitoring and controlling FOD, 5S and Tools
Utilizes Rapid Problem Solving (RPS) and coordinates with Line Side
Control Center (LSCC) to address issues Create standardized work
instructions Support teammates to improve their job performance,
including identifying training Responsible for BPS process
improvements Leads Kamishibai audits and Gemba walks Exhibits
Boeing Behaviors Must maintain all necessary certifications to
perform the job Daily plans submitted in Digital Full Kit (DFK)
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate
will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC (BSC)

Aerospace Technician and Mechanic Aptitude Virtual Job Tryout: To
be considered for this position you will be required to complete a
technical assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to
complete the assessment will remove you from consideration. Basic
Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5 years of aerospace,
fabrication, or manufacturing experience 5 years of formal and/or
informal leadership experience 2 years operations process involving
the 787 Airplane Program 2 years utilizing Velocity, REDARS and
other Boeing specific applications 2 years of experience in IVT
(Visual tracker) 2 years of experience working Plan of Action
Milestone (POAM) writing, tracking, and management 2 years of
experience in system troubleshooting and diagnosing 2 years of
experience using Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Willing to work 2nd shift as required by the position Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3 years of experience
in a leadership role 3 years of experience in EPLAN 3 years of
