Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time Social
Worker position is available to provide critical support to
elementary students within a Charleston school setting. This
contract role offers an opportunity to engage with approximately
800 students in West Ashley, with the potential to serve an
additional school. The position, starting as soon as possible and
continuing through late May 2026, is designed for candidates with a
professional license to practice school social work and a masters
degree in social work. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver direct
social work services to elementary-aged students. - Collaborate
with educators, families, and support staff to address student
well-being. - Support student mental health, behavioral challenges,
and social development. - Maintain accurate documentation and
comply with all credentialing and regulatory requirements. -
Participate in ongoing assessments and case management for a
diverse caseload. Qualifications: - Masters degree in Social Work.
- Valid license to practice school social work. - Experience
working in school environments preferred; ranging from 0 to 10
years accepted. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to
effectively support students and staff. - Ability to work
effectively in a part-time schedule, 1-2 days per week, with 7.5 to
15 hours of commitment. Location: Charleston, SC (West Ashley area)
