Military Veterans are Encouraged to Apply. -An Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for shift coverage and therefore must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems, and using computer systems. Ability to read blue prints and schematics is also required. A minimum of 5-years building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred. A strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems, is required for this position. Good communication skills are necessary. Additionally, this position requires strong leadership skills, and a willingness to work different shifts as the demands of business dictates.
Qualifications:

• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Has experience leading or supervising a team and is proficient at assigning and delegating tasks as needed.
• Experience with wiring and basic troubleshooting of electrical issues.
• Has at least four years of experience working in a facilities maintenance or engineering role.
• Basic computer skills and experience ordering and sourcing parts
• Basic knowledge and experience with plumbing.
• HVAC certification and/or hands-on experience & skills with HVAC systems
• Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
• Passion for working on a team and works well with others.
• Schedule flexibility based on hotel demands and business levels.
