Job Description:
A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative
for a national remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact insurance carriers and patients regarding outstanding
insurance claims
Prepare documentation for appeals to insurance carriers and process
appeals for incorrectly reimbursed claims
Maintain accounts, examine documents for accuracy, and manage
assigned worklist to resolve claims efficiently
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED OR equivalent experience
1+ years of experience in Insurance follow up
Working knowledge of EOB, COB, Remits, and CMS 1500
1+ years in appeal writing and processing
Working knowledge of CPT & Diagnosis Coding, Medical Terminology,
and basic Anatomy
