Job Description:

Established Havens Fine Framing is seeking a Custom Frame Designer to join our growing team! Great opportunity for an art or design student. We are looking for a team player who has an eye for design, great attention to detail and enjoys challenging art projects to create lifelong memories for our clients.

Responsibilities:
--- An understanding of proper framing techniques and components that create a fully archival product.
--- Use mathematical skills to create pieces with proper balance and proportion.
--- Educate the client about proper design and components that lead to sales of properly framed projects which excite our clients.
--- Attention to detail concerning data entry, the spelling of client names and communication of detail in order taking.
--- An ability to ask questions to determine the needs of a client and to create a product that exceeds the client's expectations.
--- An ability to work as a team member.
--- Develop and explore new creative design ideas and help to market them to our client base.
--- An ability to stay current on industry trends in product and design by participating in team education discussions.

Qualifications:
--- Art degree or previous art design experience
--- Ability to stand up for long periods of time
--- Mathematical skills including geometry and understanding proportions.
--- Custom framing experience with a focus on precision and quality (preferred)
--- Excellent customer service skills
--- Ability to lift 25 lbs on occasion
--- Ability to turn out exceptional work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
--- Experience with LifeSaver, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
