Job Summary and Qualifications
Seeking a Junior Dental Laboratory Assistant for our
practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients
receive high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that

What you will do
in this role:
Inspection, assembly, packaging,
and labeling of instruments and equipment. Distribution of dental
instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Sterilization and decontamination
of instrumentation, equipment and material supplies, as well as
testing and record keeping in compliance with all regulatory agency
and safety guidelines.
Provide competent and efficient
dental assistant support duties as approved by the SC State Board
of Dentistry. Must have knowledge of all dental equipment,
instruments, and procedures.
Expose digital bite-wing,
panoramic, and periapical radio graphs using sensors and phosper
plates. Mount digital bitewing, periapical and panoramic radio
graphs in their appropriate position.
Review, coordinate, and collaborate
with front office, Prosthodontist, and Dental Lab Technicians about
patients’ health, needs and labs.
Effective communication with
management, providers, co-workers and patients
Performing other duties as required
to support the Prosthodontic team
Qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited dental assistant academic program or
one year of training/experience.
- One year of training or one year of experience required.
- Diploma from a CODA-Accredited assisting program or DANB CDA
certification or DANB RHS Certificate of competency or Certificate
in radiation safety from SCDA OR certificate documenting completion
of a structured course of training in radiation safety
- BLS Certification
