Hire Dynamics is assisting a well-respected law firm in their search for a Real Estate Paralegal to join their team. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below! Essential Duties : Draft purchase and sale agreements, deeds, affidavits, notes, mortgages, UCC financing statements, easements and other related real estate documents in preparation of closings Review purchase and sale agreements for preparation of time schedules and closing checklists Facilitate, tracking and satisfaction of due diligence requirements for seller and purchaser clients Consult with title companies, survey firms, property inspectors and environmental consultants Contact various governmental offices to obtain information, including real estate ownership, taxes and zoning Conduct public record searches Review and summarize title commitments, title policies, lien search reports, inspection reports, surveys and phase one environmental reports Facilitate details of closing transactions with various parties to ensure documents are organized, complete and accurate Set up, attend and assist with closings Review and prepare closing statements Coordinate in all aspects of a variety of transactions Coordinate recording and filing documents in state and local offices Prepare closing binders Review, summarize and prepare leases Assist with the review of loan documents Assist with providing back-up information for opinion letters Assist with drafting complaints to lower real estate taxes Keep clients informed of status of transaction(s) Other Responsibilities : Prepare corporate filings Prepare corporate resolutions Maintain corporate minute books Complete all other assignments as required High level of business client contact and service Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills Required : 5-10+ years of experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions Strong understanding of real estate terms and technological skills including Microsoft Word Superior research skills, including the use of online services, databases and the Internet Superior organizational skills Project and case management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality Physical Requirements : Sitting frequently, six out of eight hours per day Sitting position static for up to one-half hour at a time Lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to one hour per day Bending and stooping occasionally, up to one-half hour per day Firm offers excellent health benefits, vacation/sick time, investment options and competitive salary.
