Job Description Job Description Probate Paralegal Pay Range: $27.00 – $31.00 per hour We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Probate Paralegal to support attorneys with estate administration and probate matters for a Charleston-based law firm serving clients in Moncks Corner and surrounding communities . This role focuses on managing case activity from initial filings through final distributions while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficient case progression. This position is well-suited for a paralegal who brings probate experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to supporting clients through complex and sensitive legal matters. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all phases of probate and estate administration matters Prepare, draft, and file probate pleadings, petitions, notices, and court documents Organize, review, and maintain estate files, correspondence, and legal documentation Coordinate with probate courts, financial institutions, government agencies, and third parties Track deadlines, manage calendars, and ensure cases move forward efficiently Provide administrative and case management support to maintain organized workflows Qualifications Prior paralegal experience in probate, estate administration, or estate planning Knowledge of probate court procedures and estate administration requirements Experience with legal document preparation, filing procedures, and document management systems Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases Excellent attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information Professional written and verbal communication skills What We Offer Free on-site parking Paid time off (PTO) 401(k) with partial employer match This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive legal environment where your skills directly contribute to the efficient handling of probate and estate matters. hc219344
