Job Description Summary The Medical University of South Carolina

Description Sonographer I Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in
Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field Registry eligible
through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
(ARDMS) or ARRT. Registry must be obtained within a defined within
1 year after hire Current BLS certification required Perinatal
Sonographer I Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic
Medical Sonography or related field Credentialed through the
American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or ARRT
in OB/GYN Minimum 1 year experience scanning OB-GYN ultrasound
Current BLS certification required Perinatal Sonographer II
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through the American
Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) with OB/GYN
specialty required Minimum 2 years' experience scanning OB-GYN
ultrasound Current BLS certification required Additional Job
Description Education: Graduation from a school of Diagnostic
Medical Sonography Work Experience 0-2 years. Certification by the
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers
