Job Description Summary The James B. Edwards College of Dental
Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina is seeking
applications for a full-time faculty position in the Department of
Reconstructive & Rehabilitation Sciences. The Department provides
classroom and clinical instruction for pre-doctoral dental students
and AEGD Residents in operative, fixed and removable
prosthodontics, digital dentistry, and implant prosthodontics. The
preferred candidate would be a prosthodontist, a graduate of an
AEGD/GPR program or a general dentist that is well experience in
fixed and removable prosthodontics, with a primary focus in digital
workflows. The faculty member will work collaboratively within all
disciplines of the department and other departments of the James B.

Description The James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine,
Medical University of South Carolina is seeking applications for a
full-time faculty position in the Department of Reconstructive &
Rehabilitation Sciences. The Department provides classroom and
clinical instruction for pre-doctoral dental students and AEGD
Residents in operative, fixed and removable prosthodontics, digital
dentistry, and implant prosthodontics. The preferred candidate
would be a prosthodontist, a graduate of an AEGD/GPR program or a
general dentist that is well experience in fixed and removable
prosthodontics, with a primary focus in digital workflows. The
faculty member will work collaboratively within all disciplines of
the department and other departments of the James B. Edwards
College of Dental Medicine Qualified candidates must hold a DDS or
DMD degree. Candidates who have graduated from a Prosthodontics
Residency program and are board eligible or certified are
preferred. Experience in educational innovation, use of technology
in education and computer skills are expected with preference given
to those with previous teaching and research experience. Successful
applicant should have or will obtain a South Carolina Dental
License or qualify for a teaching license. Salary and rank will be
commensurate with experience. Participation in the Dental Faculty
Practice for private patient care is expected. Additional Job

15 lbs., unassisted. (Infrequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision,
corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to
see and recognize objects close at hand. (Frequent) Ability to see
and recognize objects at a distance. (Frequent) Ability to
determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception.
