HCA Healthcare is seeking a passionate and skilled PRN Cath Lab RN to join our network of dedicated professionals. In this role, you will provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in our state-of-the-art catheterization labs. Your expertise in the cardiac field will contribute significantly to our ongoing mission to care for and improve human life. Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs during cath lab procedures. Coordinate with cardiologists and cath lab staff to assist in diagnostic testing and interventional procedures. Provide pre- and post-op education and care to patients. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to healthcare regulations. Participate in patient assessments and the preparation and recovery of patients from catheterization. Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular care. Ability to operate complex medical equipment used in catheterization procedures. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High level of critical thinking and quick decision-making skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. BLS/ACLS certification required. Certification in Cardiac Vascular Nursing (RN-BC) or Cardiac Medicine Certification (CMC) preferred.
