We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Interventional Radiology team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. In this role, you will work closely with a team of radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, interventional radiographic procedures aimed at diagnosing and treating conditions in a minimally invasive manner. This position requires a high level of precision and care, ensuring safety and optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic and technologically advanced environment. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients within the interventional radiology department. Monitor patient condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate interventions and enhance patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to safety standards and protocols. Operate and monitor radiology equipment during procedures and ensure compliance with all radiation safety guidelines. Educate patients and their families on procedures, recovery, and preventive measures. Advanced knowledge of radiologic technology and related equipment Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Certified Radiology Registered Nurse (CRRN) certification is a plus
