Setting: Outpatient Radiation Oncology Clinic (outpatient oncology
clinic) - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6,
2026) - Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Day shift,
8-hour shifts) - Hours per Week: 40 - Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1820-$1920/week - Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift
per 2 weeks - Weekend Requirement: None - On-Call Requirement: None
- Floating: May float between three clinics as needed (primary
location will be one facility) Job Requirements - Active South
Carolina RN license or multi-state compact RN license (must be
active prior to start) - Minimum 1 year RN experience required; 2–3
years oncology or outpatient experience preferred (oncology
nursing, radiation oncology experience preferred) - Experience with
Epic electronic medical record (Epic charting) required - BLS
(Basic Life Support) certification required - Chemo certification
or similar oncology infusion training preferred - Radiation badge
required (agency-provided) - First-time travel nurses considered -
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
Responsibilities - Provide compassionate, expert nursing care to
patients receiving radiation therapy in an outpatient setting
(radiation oncology nursing) - Collaborate with radiation
oncologists, medical physicists, radiation therapists, and
multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care - Assess
and monitor patient responses to radiation treatment; report
changes and escalate concerns promptly - Educate patients and
families on treatment plans, potential side effects, symptom
management, and self-care strategies - Accurately document all
care, assessments, and patient interactions in Epic EMR - Float
between assigned clinics as needed to support patient care and
clinic operations - Participate in emergency response procedures
and clinic preparedness (including hurricane season protocols) when
