Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South
Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR -
Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work
3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM (Saturday, Sunday, and 1
weekday) • No on-call responsibilities required • Float within
scope to meet facility needs and between like units/sister
facilities • 2 years of experience strongly preferred • First-time
travelers accepted • South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN
license required • Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge
(provided by agency) • Level 1 trauma experience required • Scrub
experience strongly preferred • RNs trained to both scrub and
circulate surgical procedures • Work with all surgical specialties
including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and
Robotics • Use EPIC charting system • Scrubs provided by facility •
Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Patient ratio of 1:1
for days, nights, and weekends • Facility may call off 1 shift per
2 weeks for guaranteed hours • During hurricane season
(June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams •
Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start •
Parking permit required ($20 registration fee for hang tag)

hospital features 21 operating room suites covering all surgical
specialties with cutting-edge technology. The facility operates as
a major teaching hospital with 820 staffed beds and maintains a
dynamic, nurse-driven environment. The main operating room consists
of 75% registered nurses and 25% certified surgical technologists,
providing comprehensive surgical services to the community with
interdisciplinary support including interpretation services,
radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary services. Location:
