Job Description:

Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Onsite School Psychologist to join our team dedicated to improving the educational experiences of children with special needs. This position involves working directly in school environments, assessing and addressing the psychological and educational needs of students. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of various psychological theories and practices applicable to educational settings, with a primary goal of fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment where all students can thrive. Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to guide educational strategies Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention strategies Implement individual and group programs to enhance student learning and emotional wellbeing Provide crisis intervention and support for students as needed Participate in multidisciplinary teams to promote an integrated approach to student support Maintain comprehensive documentation of assessments, interventions, and communications Expertise in psychological testing and assessment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and school administrators Proficiency in crisis management and intervention Knowledge of educational law and ethics Experience with special education and IEP processes Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred
