Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites applications for the position of Mental
Health Nurse Extern in our responsive and patient-focused medical
teams. This role offers the unique opportunity to gain first-hand

nursing professionals. Our Nurse Externs play a vital role in
supporting the delivery of compassionate and comprehensive care to
patients dealing with various mental health conditions. Join us and

and mental health professionals in the delivery of patient care.
Participate in patient assessment and the planning of care under
supervision. Provide direct patient support, including monitoring,
recording, and reporting changes in patient conditions. Assist in
the implementation of patient management plans and interventions.
Attend and participate in team meetings and multidisciplinary case
conferences. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical
guidelines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability
to work effectively in a team. Basic understanding of psychiatric
conditions and treatment modalities. Proficient in using medical
software and patient management systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification required. CPR certification preferred.
