Job Description:
We are seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join a
hospital-employed practice. New grads are welcome to apply. The
provider will perform general Cardiology, cover Stemi calls, and be
comfortable with Coronary and Peripheral procedures. Employed
Position Inpatient & Outpatient Anticipated Call Ratio: 1:5 ER
(inpatient) Coverage: 1:7 Practice Call: 1:5 Office space (2,600 sq
ft) is in a Medical Office Building on campus and is fully ready to
accommodate Cath Lab Block ready Statesboro is a simple 50-minute

Assistance The healthcare team consists of approximately 1000
associates and over 120 physicians representing a wide range of
specialties. The hospital offers a 24-hour emergency department, a
Level II neonatal center, same-day surgery and ambulatory care, a
pain management center, a wound care clinic, two cardiac
catheterization labs, and state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures
including digital mammography, MRI, CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine,
and interventional cardiology/radiology. There are 9 OBGYNs, 21
PCPs, and 3 General Surgeons on staff, with a large referral base.
The hospital also has a robust hospitalist program with 10
Hospitalists (8 daytimers and 2 nocturnists). Statesboro, the
largest city in Bulloch County (service area 225,000) in southeast
Georgia, is home to Georgia Southern University (enrollment
25,000), the third largest university in the state. A progressive
