Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Charleston, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,842 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29425! Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years strongly preferred License: Active RN license in South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license Certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge Must-Have: Strong scrub experience preferred Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs Description: The position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The shift is 3x12s from 6:30 AM to 7 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday. On-call requirements will be determined based on unit needs. The role may involve floating between like units or sister facilities. A minimum of 2 years of experience is strongly preferred. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must have required certifications including BLS. A radiation badge will be provided by the agency. Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is preferred. The facility is a busy academic trauma center, featuring 21 operating room suites. Surgical specialties include Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedic, Neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. Registered Nurses in this setting are trained to both scrub and circulate during surgical procedures. This is a nurse-driven department, recognized for providing cutting-edge technology. Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.
