meet facility needs Description: The position is for an Operating
Room Registered Nurse. The shift is 3x12s from 6:30 AM to 7 PM on
Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday. On-call requirements will be
determined based on unit needs. The role may involve floating
between like units or sister facilities. A minimum of 2 years of
experience is strongly preferred. First-time travelers are
accepted. Candidates must have required certifications including
BLS. A radiation badge will be provided by the agency. Experience
in a Level 1 trauma center is preferred. The facility is a busy
academic trauma center, featuring 21 operating room suites.
Surgical specialties include Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedic,
Neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. Registered Nurses in this
setting are trained to both scrub and circulate during surgical
procedures. This is a nurse-driven department, recognized for
providing cutting-edge technology. Candidates should be aware that
during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency
response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November,
