Job Description:
As a PRN Interventional Radiology Nurse at HCA Healthcare, you
will have the opportunity to provide expert care in a
state-of-the-art environment that prioritizes patient health and
well-being. Our interventional radiology team uses minimally
invasive techniques guided by imaging technology to perform
procedures that typically require less recovery time and are often
alternatives to open surgery. This position allows you to work on
an as-needed basis without regular, pre-scheduled hours, giving you
flexibility while still being part of a dedicated healthcare team.
Assess patient condition and prepare them for radiological
procedures using proper techniques and protocols. Administer
medications and monitor patient responses to treatments. Coordinate
with radiologists to perform image-guided, minimally invasive
procedures. Ensure all radiological equipment is functioning
correctly before use. Educate patients and their families on
post-procedure care and potential complications. Maintain accurate
patient records and adhere to all compliance and privacy
regulations. Clinical nursing skills Familiarity with radiological
equipment and procedures Ability to respond quickly and effectively
in varying patient scenarios Excellent communication and patient
education ability Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple
tasks Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license in the state of
practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) certification Certification in Radiology
Nursing (CRN) preferred but not required
