Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN to join our dedicated
team of healthcare professionals. In this pivotal role, you will be
responsible for managing patient care in a fast-paced emergency
room environment, overseeing nursing staff, and ensuring the
delivery of exceptional care according to established protocols and
standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to take on a
leadership role within our emergency department, impacting patient
outcomes and enhancing the level of care provided. Coordinate and
supervise patient care in the emergency department, ensuring
compliance with healthcare standards and safety regulations. Lead
and mentor a team of nurses and support staff to enhance
professional development and ensure adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare
professionals to optimize patient care plans. Implement patient
care protocols and evaluate their effectiveness in improving
patient outcomes. Manage departmental staffing and scheduling,
ensuring optimal resource utilization and patient coverage. Assist
with the development and implementation of training and continuous
education programs for emergency room staff. Participate in quality
improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of
departmental policies and procedures. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-stress
environment Proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Expertise in emergency medicine and critical care procedures

401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
employment Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Specialty certification in
Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred but not required
