Registered Nurse (RN) | Ambulatory Surgery Location: North Charleston, SC Agency: ATC Healthcare Services Pay: $50 per hour Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Registered Nurse (RN) – Observation Unit Location: North Charleston, SC Shift: 3x12s, Monday–Thursday Days or Nights (17:00-05:30 or 05:30-18:00) Pay: $1,795/week (including $1,075 travel stipend) Start Date: 01/05/2026 Job Duration: 13 weeks Are you a skilled and compassionate RN seeking a meaningful role in an advanced observation unit? Job Description As a vital part of the nursing team, you will care for adult and pediatric post-surgical observation patients in a 5-bed unit. Job Requirements Active RN license in SC or compact state (must be in hand prior to start) Minimum 1 year of RN experience in direct patient care within the last year Previous charge experience preferred Epic charting experience required Travel nursing experience required Teaching or community hospital experience preferred Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or Red Cross) Patient Ratio: 1:3 (nights) Must be able to float to sister facilities as needed (Downtown, Main, West Campus) Skills & Competencies Strong IV skills, venipuncture, and medication administration Emergency and general surgical care experience preferred Familiarity with post-op assessments, oxygen therapy, cardiac arrest response, 12-lead ECG, and blood glucose monitoring Capable of adult and pediatric patient care Proficient in Epic and interdisciplinary collaboration Effective patient teaching and triage communication Our Culture There are a few things we look for across all hires at ATC, regardless of role or team.
