ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week • Minimum of 3-4 weekend shifts required per schedule • Holiday rotation required • Float to medical surgical floors at Main hospital and Ashley River tower • Patient ratios may vary depending on unit assigned (typically 1:6) • Care for adult patients on medical surgical units • 2 years of nursing experience required • First-time travelers accepted • South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required • BLS certification required • Required skills: Starting and maintaining IVs, Med/Surg experience, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions • Dress code: Solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms • Charting system: EPIC • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Block schedule requests require manager approval and depend on unit needs • Hurricane season assignment to emergency response teams may be required (June-November) Facility: This comprehensive healthcare system operates as a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 staffed beds.
