Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Charleston, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,699 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Observation Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid RN license (Compact or state specific) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in surgical short stay/observation settings. First-timers are accepted. Description: The position requires a registered nurse to work in a surgical short stay and observation unit. Shifts are 3x12 hours, working Monday through Thursday. No weekends or holidays are required. The staffing model typically includes two RNs and one PCT, with the possibility of a 1-RN, 1-PCT model on some nights. The unit cares for a variety of patients, including those undergoing orthopedic, interventional radiology, and gastrointestinal procedures. The nurse will work closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and operating room staff to provide safe and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a similar clinical setting is necessary. The unit operates within a secure environment that is monitored overnight. Nurses may be required to float to another observation unit if necessary. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
