TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Johns Island, South Carolina, 29455! Pay Information $1,872 per week About The Position Job Title: ER RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2 Years of ER Experience License: South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Must-Have: First-timers accepted Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend No on-call requirement No floating between units Description: Position: ER RN This role requires working 3x12 hour days from 7 AM to 7:30 PM. The patient ratios include 6:1 for boarders and 4:1 for ED patients. Local candidates will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. The Emergency Department provides 24/7 services to the community. It includes a free-standing emergency department, trauma rooms, imaging, and a helipad for critical care transport. The facility will serve a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, and geriatrics. Daily visits may vary, and it will primarily treat adult patients but also serves some pediatric cases. The candidate must manage various procedures and patient conditions typical in an emergency setting. Skills required include effective communication, triage, and emergency medication administration. The ideal candidate will have experience with arterial line management, intubation, and IV management. Candidates must be proficient in charting and electronic health record systems.
