Position Summary: The Special Response Team Registered Nurse role
is utilized to provide clinical support to clinical areas
throughout all four Central Kentucky LifePoint facilities that have
a high need for supplemental staffing. The SRT RN has the
authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for the
delivery of nursing care using the nursing process. The SRT RN, in
collaboration with other healthcare professionals, applies
competent clinical knowledge and skills to achieve quality care
outcomes. Nurses must be willing to work at all Central Kentucky
LifePoint facilities and accept regular rotational assignments as
determined by the Senior SRT Program Director. The SRT RN must
agree to be available to work 72 hours in a bi-weekly pay period
including but not limited to: day, night, weekend, and holiday
shifts and will follow the scheduling requirements of the Central
Kentucky LifePoint facility assigned. Call may be required when
working Surgery or Women Services rotations Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associate's Degree Nursing (ADN) Required Bachelor's
Degree Nursing (BSN) Preferred Licenses: Current RN license in the
state of Kentucky Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS within 30 days of
hire NIHSS within 30 days of hire Handle with Care within 30 days
of hire TNCC within 6 months of hire National Certification -
Required within 6 months of hire or transfer (didn't include the
below portion in posting) Per Specific Unit Requirements NRP within
90 days of hire (WS) NIHSS (Stroke, ED) Minimum Work Experience:
Two years of nursing experience in one of the following specialty
