qualified PCU RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29425! Pay

License: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH required Must-Have:
PCU/Stepdown experience Description: The position is for a PCU RN
in a Neuroscience setting. The nurse will work on a 1:3-1:4
patient-to-nurse ratio, based on acuity. The shift is 3x12-hour
nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekend shifts are required, with 4-5
weekend shifts in a 4-week period. There are no on-call
requirements. The nurse will float within their scope to meet
facility needs. First-timers are accepted for this position.
American Heart Association certifications are mandatory. Local
candidates may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. There may be
policies regarding attendance and callouts, which apply equally to
all staff. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams
during hurricane season from June through November. Please be aware
that the peak hurricane months are August and September. Each
callout will be considered for cancellation, and communication with
the nurse manager is essential when calling out. Only candidates
with an active or pending South Carolina RN license are considered.
