HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/21/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Must have : Ability to care for 6 Telemetry patients/ post cardiac procedures to include: PCI, PPM, ICD or Ablations. Proficient in reading telemetry strips. Time management to include plans of care every shift, collaboration with physicians and ancillary departments. Discharge planning and patient education. Advanced skills needed: Phlebotomy Nurses administer breathing treatments outside of the ICU (Respiratory treatments: inhalers and nebulizers) Foley Catheter care and maintenance (with nurse driven protocols for removal) Telemetry and Post Cath Lab patients Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS required, NIH stroke scale certification required. Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 30 Patient Ratios : 1:6 (patient ratios are estimated and not guaranteed) Unit staffing description- RNs. Type of equipment : i-mobile phones for each care team member, Mobile computer workstation on wheels Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 3 - 12 hour shifts per week to include every other weekend Floating policy: Travelers are the first to float. Any traveler could be sent to the emergency department to care for inpatients holds. Could be floated in work in the telemetry monitoring room or PCU.
