The facility provides evaluation and treatment to clients needing care. The hospital's admitting office is a psychiatric emergency receiving facility open 24 hours a day. The registered nurses and licensed practical nurses aides provide comprehensive psychiatric care on a 24-hour basis in accordance with the physicians prescribed treatment and with the recognition of the dignity and uniqueness of each client. Provide care, treatment, and general welfare of patients. May supervise the work of others and works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs Nursing duties within the assigned areas and assigned shifts, including the collection of lab work and other health screenings. Keeps informed of and follows all agency, facility, and unit policies and procedures. Assists the RN Supervisor with on-the-job Nursing instruction.Job Requirements:- Must be proficient in Med PassCredentials Required: Active Nursing License Current TB (if they have a positive TB Chest X-ray and symptom screening required) Current Flu (waiver upon request; must be approved by facility) American Heart Association BLS CPR Card COVID Vaccine (waiver upon request; must be approved by facility) Requirements: at least 6 months experience.
