Job Description:
The Perinatal Educator provides support and resources to
pregnant women and their families in a classroom or tour setting on
a wide range of topics that assist the family unit through the
childbirth process, baby care and development, sibling
interactions, reproductive health, pregnancy and breast feeding.
Education and Qualifications: Current BLS Previous Perinatal
education experience preferred. Required if not a certified
instructor Certified as a Childbirth instructor strongly preferred
(ICEA, CBE, ACBE; CCCEEmployment practices will not be influenced
