Job Description Summary
The successful applicant will be an Advanced Practice provider interested in working full time as an APP Infusion Services Program Director. This role involves supervising patient care at the Hollings Cancer Center, North Charleston, Health East Cooper, Health West infusion suites, rapid access clinic, and future sites. The position reports directly to the Medical Director for Infusion Services in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology Oncology, and collaborates with the Infusion Center nursing managers. It also has a matrix reporting relationship with the APP Best Practice Center leader. Under limited supervision, the Program Director oversees daily APP staffing and deployment across Charleston Division infusion centers, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure timely access to care, operational efficiency, practice optimization, fiscal integrity, and quality patient care. The role includes clinical work to fill schedules during call outs and participation in rotating weekend and holiday infusion coverage.
