We're seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Estimating and Purchasing Manager to join our team. You will assist our busy team by producing proposals, cost estimates, and detailed takeoffs for construction projects. Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in construction estimation and very strong communication and project management skills. Responsibilities

• 
  
• Create take-offs and Estimates on new homes
  
• Solicit quotes and bids from trade partners, suppliers, vendors
  
• Create purchase orders for homes under construction
  
• Maintain budgets and cost estimates on future and ongoing projects
  
• Acquire new trade partners
  
• Redline and maintain buildable job plans
  
• Maintain scopes of work for each trade topic
  
• Manage the creation of plans, engineering, and permit process of new homes
  
• Evaluate new building products
  
• Assist Accounts Payable with questions on payables
  
• Create Job Start packages
  
• Updated Buildertrend to keep estimates, documents, and plans up to date for field and office staff
  
• Meet with field staff once a week to help with questions and concerns
  
• Maintain the Starts Board to keep everyone updated on new starts
  
• Negotiate rebates
  
• Help Accounting process credits on returns
  
• Maintain the job files, ARB, and Permit files
  
• Fill out ARB applications
  
  
  
  Qualifications
  
  
  • 
    
  • Excellent project management, time-management, and communication skills are necessary
    
  • Extensive experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software
    
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed

      $70,000 yearly
