Aircraft Interior Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing
Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Aircraft
Interior Specialists Level B or C to join the Final Assembly RAMP
Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on Variable Shift
4 . Employees in this position will perform decorative interior
repair in the aircraft cabin on assemblies made from various types
of material including fiberglass, plastic and composites using
various methods, including but not limited to painting and sweep
and fill. This job is performed at various stages of the aircraft
assembly process, in factory and/or flight line locations. This is

quality standards in all deliverables, ensuring that our work meets
or exceeds expectations and complies with all regulatory and
company requirements Must successfully complete the new hire
foundational training to obtain and maintain all required
certifications Proficient use of a computer in a dynamic production
environment Look up/read/comprehend electronic technical work
instructions, drawings and/or specification to select correct
parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, and hardware used
to install, fit, fasten, align, adjust and perform the necessary
per-installation and installation of interiors Understanding of
proper cleaning methods, surface preparation, cleaning, and masking
for rework Apply chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers,
adhesives, paints and special finishes Majority of responsibility
is for non-baseline work requiring interpretation of established
processes and instructions to troubleshoot and develop solutions to
complex non-standard work Work independently with limited direction
from lead and manager Report and work to resolve job constraints
including but not limited to errors caused by workmanship, defects
in parts, materials, assembly procedures, tools, sequences, etc.,
in accordance with Boeing procedures Exhibit exemplary Housekeeping
and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards. Maintain clean, neat,
organized and FOD free work area Wear appropriate protective
clothing/equipment determined by the task performed Operate various
mechanical lifts (e.g. ladders, tiger and snorkel lifts) Use
various hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as screwdrivers,
ratchets, power screwdriver multi meters, continuity testers Work
around energized sources (electrical equipment and hazards/shock,
e.g. circuit breakers and wiring) and exposure to constant noise
Finger manipulation (keyboarding, other) Lifting and carrying up to
10-35 pounds Climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles,
scaffolding, inclined surfaces), Crawling, Crouching (squatting)
Flexion/Extension (head bent down, head bent back), Handling,
Kneeling, Bending at the waist, Reaching (overhead), Rotation of
head/neck, Standing, Twisting at the waist and walking Must be able
to accurately perceive and distinguish between colored surfaces.
Successful completion of a color vision screening is required
following a conditional offer of employment Must be able to work in
elevated and/or confined spaces in indoor temperature-controlled
environments as well as outdoor open environments Ability to
correspond with internal teams and external suppliers and customers
with dignity, respect and integrity while exhibiting the Boeing
Values at all times Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience): Must have the ability to work variable shifts
(first, second, or third) based on business needs Ability to work
with high-hazard chemicals using proper protective equipment
provided Ability to complete and maintain Confined Space and Fall
Protection certifications, if required 1 years of aerospace,
fabrication, or manufacturing experience working with decorative
finishes i.e. paints, laminates, vinyl’s, plastics etc 1 years of
experience with aircraft sustainment, repairs, replacements, and
modifications Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of
education and experience 3 years of experience in manufacturing,
aerospace, and/or equivalent military service 3 years aerospace
experience in cabin systems interiors (ex. galleys, lavatories,
stowage, first and business class seats, interior liners, etc)
Technical skills include file, sand, paint, decorative laminate
("declam"), and cosmetic rework (ex. paint color match, surface
texture match, etc) Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well
as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range: Level B -
$54,000 - $64,000 Summary Pay Range: Level C - $61,200 - $64,500

Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate
