Job Description Summary A speech-language pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders. Job duties may include: Assessment and Diagnosis of patients such as: Evaluate patients’ levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty. Identify treatment options based on the assessment findings. Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Additional Job Description Education: Postgraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an ASHA accredited program. Work Experience: At least 1 year. Certification/Licensure: Current SC state licensure required. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
