Position: Engineer, Electrical/Electronics II Overview: ITC Defense
is searching for an Engineer specializing in Electrical and
Electronics in support of the Child Youth Program (CYP) Closed
Circuit Television (CCTV) and Life Cycle Support Contract.
Responsibilities: Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV, IP
video surveillance, and electronic access control systems for CYP
facilities. Perform hands-on setup and troubleshooting of IP
cameras, VMS software, access control panels, card readers, and
related network equipment. Assist with camera placement, field of
view verification, cable terminations, and system commissioning.
Diagnose and resolve video, network, and access control system
issues to ensure continuous system availability. Perform routine
inspections, preventive and emergency maintenance, and system
upgrades for CCTV and IP video systems. Support lifecycle
sustainment activities, including equipment replacement and
technology refresh. Maintain accurate system documentation,
configuration records, and as-built drawings. Coordinate directly
with vendors, installers, and facility staff during installations
and repairs. Ensure systems meet applicable DoD, CYP, and physical
security requirements. Other duties as assigned. Minimum
Qualifications: Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronics
Engineering. 3 years of professional experience with design,
develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing/integration of
electrical and electronic equipment, to include: Systems/Equipment
Support, and Test and Evaluation support of C4ISR or similar
requirements. A Master's degree and/or a PhD can be credited as
additional years of experience. Genetec Security Center 5.x
Omnicast technical certification (or higher) is required. Ability
to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations. U.S. Citizenship is
required for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Active
Security Clearance is not required but is a plus. Experience with
reading CAD designs, technical writing, and Virtual Machine (VM)
configurations. Advanced knowledge of network protocols , VLANs,
firewalls, and VPNs for secure remote access. Strong communication
skills with team members and senior government or company leaders.
