Job Description Job Description Level 1 Technician – Data Center (Entry Level) Location: Moncks Corner South Carolina Employment Type: Long-term Contract (Potential to Convert to Full-Time) Pay: $20/hour About the Role We are seeking a Level 1 Technician to join our team supporting operations within a high?performance data center environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may not have telecom experience but is hard?working, dependable, and eager to learn . The ideal candidate has a background in physically demanding work—such as construction, trades, military, or similar—and is looking for a long-term career path with room for advancement. Work ethic, attitude, and reliability are the top priorities for this position. Key Responsibilities Pull and route cabling throughout the data center Assemble, stack, and drill racks Scan, label, and port equipment Support general installation tasks as directed by lead technicians Required Attributes Experience in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, etc.) Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude Proven reliability and consistent attendance history Hands-on electrical or military experience is highly valued Technical Skills Cable pulling Structured cabling Low-voltage installation Basic construction or installation experience Familiarity with cabling tools and hardware Top Skills: cable, structured cabling, cable tech, construction Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Moncks Corner, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
