Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher serving students in grades K-12, located in Murrells Inlet, SC. The role involves working with a diverse caseload that includes Self-Contained, Resource, and Special Day Classrooms. The position is contract-based, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning needs. Provide direct instruction and support across grades K-12, including Self-Contained and Resource settings. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Qualifications and Experience: Active State License in Special Education required. Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 preferred. Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assessment tools. Ability to manage diverse classrooms and individual needs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Details: Contract duration: Immediate start through end of the school year. Hours: 30 to 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week. Pay: $37$41 per hour, commensurate with experience. Location: Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
