Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide
essential support within school settings. This role involves
working with students to enhance their physical, sensory, and motor
skills, enabling them to succeed academically and socially. The
position requires travel within the Charleston, WV area, offering
diverse experiences across multiple educational environments. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to
students individual needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and
other professionals to develop and implement intervention plans
Assess, monitor, and document student progress effectively Support
assistive technology assessments and recommendations Participate in
meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
Desired Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational
Therapist with valid credentials for school-based practice
Experience working in educational settings preferred Strong
communication and teamwork skills Flexibility and willingness to
travel between schools Ability to assess and address a range of
developmental and sensory challenges Location: Primarily based in
Charleston, WV, with regular travel to various school sites
