Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A growing elementary school in North Charleston, SC, is
seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher with an active South
Carolina state license. This full-time, onsite position focuses on
providing specialized instruction and support to students with
diverse learning needs, including those diagnosed with Autism
Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ideal candidate will have a strong
commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment where
all students can thrive. Experience handling challenging behaviors
and working with children diagnosed with ASD is highly preferred,
along with multi-categorical licensure to address a broad range of
special education needs. Key Qualifications and Experience: Active
South Carolina state licensure as a Special Education Teacher
Multi-categorical licensure preferred Experience supporting
students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and managing behaviors
Background in working with elementary-aged students Ability to
create individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with
general education staff Responsibilities include: Delivering
specialized instruction tailored to students' unique learning
requirements Developing and implementing IEPs in compliance with
state and federal regulations Monitoring student progress and
adapting strategies to meet behavioral and educational goals
Collaborating with classroom teachers, families, and support staff
to ensure student success Maintaining a positive and structured
classroom environment conducive to learning This position offers
