This position involves providing specialized educational support for K-12 students with diverse learning needs within a dynamic school environment located in Beaufort, SC. The role emphasizes hands-on, onsite involvement with students across a range of developmental stages and abilities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students unique educational goals and abilities. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, therapists, and families. Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to optimize educational outcomes. Foster inclusive classroom environments that promote social and academic growth. Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student success. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Special Education Teaching certification. Experience working with K-12 students, including early childhood and severe/profound special needs. Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavioral supports. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work full-time onsite, maintaining 37.5 hours per week commitment for the contract school year duration. Location: Multiple openings available within Beaufort County, SC, including Okatie Elementary (Early Childhood focus) and May River High School (Severe and Profound needs).
