Locations and Specializations: Early Childhood Special Education at Okatie Elementary (Bluffton, SC) Severe and Profound Special Education at May River High School (Bluffton, SC) Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. Collaborate with general education staff, therapists, and families to support student development. Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to promote academic, social, and functional skills. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as necessary. Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and educational teams. Desired Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification for K-12. Experience working with diverse learners, including early childhood and severe/profound special needs populations. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Commitment to professional development and student advocacy. Work Details: Full-time contract position, consistent with the school calendar year. 37.5 hours per week. Positions are onsite to ensure direct interaction with students and staff.
