per Day Location: Walterboro, South Carolina (School-Based Setting)
Position Summary We are seeking a qualified School-Based Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide assessment, diagnosis, and
treatment of speech, language, voice, and communication disorders
in a school environment. The SLP will collaborate with educators,
families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic
and functional communication needs. Key Responsibilities Evaluate
students for speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and
communication disorders Develop and implement Individualized
Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal
guidelines Provide direct speech-language therapy services to
students individually and in group settings Document evaluations,
progress notes, and treatment plans accurately and timely
Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, parents, and
special education staff Participate in IEP meetings,
multidisciplinary team meetings, and case conferences Monitor
student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Ensure
services align with educational goals and classroom integration
Maintain compliance with school policies, professional standards,
and ethical guidelines Required Qualifications Master’s Degree in
Speech-Language Pathology Active or eligible state licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist Certification or eligibility for
CCC-SLP preferred Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
preferred Strong communication, organizational, and documentation
