Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. This full-time position is for an Elementary Special
Education Teacher serving students in grades K-5 with mostly mild
disabilities. The role involves providing both push-in and pull-out
services to support individualized student needs in an elementary
school setting. The contract is for the current school year. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver specialized instruction tailored to
students with mild disabilities - Implement Individualized
Education Programs (IEPs) in both inclusive (push-in) and separate
(pull-out) settings - Collaborate with classroom teachers and
school staff to support student learning and accommodations -
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional
strategies as needed - Maintain accurate and timely documentation
in compliance with educational standards and regulations -
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student
goals and progress Desired Qualifications: - Valid Special
Education teaching certification - Experience working with
elementary-aged children (K-5) - Ability to effectively provide
push-in and pull-out services - Strong knowledge of instructional
strategies and interventions for mild disabilities - Excellent
communication and collaboration skills - Commitment to fostering an
inclusive classroom environment Location: Mount Pleasant, South
