entry-level Financial Analyst to join our team in Georgetown,
Kentucky. This position is ideal for candidates with a solid
accounting background who are eager to contribute to financial
reporting, revenue analysis, and general accounting functions. The
role provides opportunities to engage in both analytical tasks and
core accounting processes, supporting growth in a dynamic finance
environment. Responsibilities: • Prepare and deliver routine sales
and revenue reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Analyze
budget and forecast variances to identify trends and areas of
improvement. • Conduct gross margin analysis to pinpoint key
drivers influencing financial performance. • Support
decision-making by performing ad hoc financial analyses as needed.
• Assist in monthly financial reporting and reconciliation tasks to
maintain accurate records. • Track and update fixed assets,
ensuring compliance with accounting standards. • Collaborate with
external contractors by providing documentation for sales and
property tax filings. • Prepare schedules and supporting materials
for annual audit processes. • Partner with operations, sales, and
accounting teams to gather and analyze financial data. • Contribute
to reporting and analysis process improvements to enhance
efficiency. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is
required. • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret financial
data effectively. • Proficiency in Excel, including intermediate to
advanced functions. • Strong attention to detail with excellent
organizational skills. • Effective communication skills for
collaborating across departments. • Ability to work independently
and as part of a team. • Experience with financial reporting and
account reconciliation. • Familiarity with audit preparation and
fixed asset accounting.
