Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our clients team in Georgetown, KY. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, including budgeting and corporate accounting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in operational accounting and auditing, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards of financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Manage general ledger activities, including the preparation and analysis of journal entries. • Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. • Review and implement lease accounting standards in compliance with regulations. • Prepare and consolidate financial statements for corporate reporting purposes. • Lead corporate consolidation efforts and ensure alignment with organizational goals. • Develop and manage budgeting processes to support strategic financial planning. • Monitor and analyze budget performance, providing insights to management. • Conduct operational audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and drive efficiency. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on operational and corporate accounting. • Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management. • Strong skills in journal entry preparation and account reconciliation. • Experience with bank reconciliations and lease accounting standards. • Ability to prepare consolidated financial statements and oversee corporate consolidation. • Knowledge of budgeting processes and effective budget management strategies. • Familiarity with conducting audits, particularly operational audits. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach. Accounting Degree, CPA or MBA
