Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior GL Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and support the month-end closing process. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in the accounting field. Company open to possibility of a hybrid schedule for the right candidate and dependent on location of candidate. Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of general ledger entries- Support month-end and year-end closing processes- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies- Prepare financial reports and assist in financial analysis- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies- Assist in the preparation of audit documentationSkills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferred- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
